Our Journey

Tired of the 9-5, we left our corporate jobs in 2019 in search of a new adventure; traveling North America in our renovated 1997 fifth wheel. After nearly 9,000km, Covid-19 changed our plans. Now, we’re back on the East Coast of Canada renovating our dream lake cottage and containership home in the woods! As active members of the LGBTQ+ space, we use our platforms to share conversations about our lived experiences and connect with our community over the highs and lows of living your dreams and creating new ones. Our passion for DIY, sustainability, and home improvement has blossomed into a lifestyle we share weekly on YouTube! 

Lake Home Renovations

After returning to Canada, we spent over three years living in an off-grid dome on The Land, dealing with cold winters while supplying our own water, heat, and electricity. All this was happening while we navigated the ups and downs of constructing our shipping container home. Seeking a new adventure and a more stable living arrangement, we decided to purchase a nearby vintage cottage on a lake. Join us as we transform this charming lake home into a modern, cozy retreat. From kitchen upgrades to creating inviting living spaces, we’re blending the natural beauty of the lake with contemporary design through our DIY projects.
